We asked you to tap into your creativity and design a tee we could sell with proceeds going to The Shoreditch Trust… and we were blown away by the response.
The Shoreditch Trust does an amazing job in providing essentials to those in need around our design studio, but the number of international submissions we received inspired us to take things a step further. We want the impact of this initiative to reach beyond our neighbourhood and into yours. So, we’re also opening up our archives to let you give back within your own community.
Buy one, give one.
With each limited-edition tee sold, we invite you to nominate someone to select a FREE piece of Basic Rights from past seasons. Send to a friend, co-worker, family member, or anyone you know who could do with a little pick-me-up these days.
Your nominee will be sent a code to use at checkout on any one item of their choosing from our archive e-store.
Artist: Hemza Hajyousif, USA
Notes from the designer: "The 'Lucky Dice' print alludes to the cynicism and superstition related to the dangers pilots encountered during WW2. This symbol was later adopted by racing subcultures in London signaling that these drivers were willing to 'dice with death'. Pushing the kitsch symbolism associated with the image, we played with its orientation to bring it into a more contemporary context."
Composition: 100% cotton
All proceeds benefit The Shoreditch Trust. Buy one and unlock our archives for a friend of your choice.
